DeMar DeRozan, who is a member of the Toronto Raptors, made a promise ahead of Game 2 against the Milwaukee Bucks. The two teams will be playing for the chance to move on in the NBA Playoffs. Read more in detail here: demar derozan.

DeMar DeRozan Makes a Promise Ahead of Game 2 vs. the Bucks

The Chicago Bulls were on the verge of pulling off an upset. The Bulls were double-digit underdogs in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference playoff series against the third-seeded Milwaukee Bucks. It would have been one thing to defeat the reigning NBA champions, but it was quite another to do it in such a manner. DeMar DeRozan, the All-Star forward for the Chicago Bulls, was nearly unnoticed.

Despite a poor shooting effort in the fourth quarter, the Bulls maintained a lead. They came back from a 16-point hole to tie the game. DeRozan battled badly in the fourth quarter, scoring zero points in the opening ten minutes. The Bulls’ star made a vow before of Game 2 on Wednesday night.

The Chicago Bulls’ DeMar DeRozan wasn’t the only one who struggled with his shooting.

In the fourth quarter, the Bulls had a chance to win. Milwaukee had a terrible shooting night as well, and the Bulls took advantage. With 5:56 left in the fourth, center Nikola Vucevic gave the Bulls a 78-77 lead, but Chicago only scored 15 points. The Bulls shot 32.3 percent from the field during the game, yet still managed to stay in the contest.

Knowing they may have let one go away might be heartbreaking for Chicago. It might also be encouraging to know that despite a dismal offensive performance, they were able to keep up with the defending champions.

According to The Chicago Tribune, Zach LaVine remarked, “I think we did a fantastic job with us shooting this way and defending the way we did, keeping the game going.” “We squandered a lot of possibilities.”

DeRozan shot 6-for-25 from the field, while LaVine went 6-for-19. Vucevic didn’t do much better, connecting on just nine of his 27 attempts. The Bulls were within striking distance late in the fourth quarter despite their top three players shooting 21-for-71.

Before Game 2, DeMar DeRozan makes a commitment.

DeRozan made a strong first impression with the Bulls, posting a career-high 27.9 points per game. After a three-year layoff, he returned to the NBA All-Star Game, shooting 50.4 percent from the field.

With Lavine and Vucevic, DeRozan established a strong three that helped the Bulls return to the playoffs after a four-year absence. He knows how close his Bulls were to pulling off the upset on Sunday, and he swears he’ll never shoot like that again.

“I have no idea what’s going on,” DeRozan remarked. “I felt pleased about every shot I took.” I promise that neither Zach nor Vooch will miss that many shots again.

“I took most of my images with the shutter open wide. The door is wide open. “There’s no way in hell I’m going to shoot 6 for 25 again.”

DeRozan ended with 18 points, but he went 1-for-7 in the fourth quarter, when his team most needed him.

The Bulls are confident in their ability to compete with the Bucks.

The game on Sunday was dreadful in every way. The clubs combined for a 17-for-75 three-point shooting percentage. Neither team scored more than 100 points.

While the Bulls shot badly, they got themselves into a hole early on when the Bucks scored the game’s first nine points. DeRozan predicted that the Bucks will go on a run at some point, enthralling their home audience. He said that they had to maintain their cool and endure the chase.

“We’ve been talking about sticking together all week,” DeRozan added. “There will be times throughout the game when things become heated; they’ll hit some shots; the fans will get into it; and we’ll have to pull together.” We must maintain the status quo.

“We were expecting it. It was unfortunate that it occurred in the opening few minutes of the game, but we were prepared and stayed focused after that.”

Although the Bulls had a bad night, it may have given them the confidence boost they needed.
