Celebrity boxing has been on an uptick this year, but nothing seemed to top the summer of 2018. Floyd Mayweather Jr. posted a $100,000 reward after bagging $65 million off the back of the boxing match against MMA star, Conor McGregor. The money is part of a deal for Mayweather to appear in an upcoming film called “The Adventures of Rocky,” and you can bet that it’s not a small reward.

If you thought Logan Paul was brave to step into the ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr, imagine how much courage it takes to rob the undefeated boxing champion. Mayweather recently joined the ranks of crime victims in America, prompting him to shell out at least $100,000 to catch the criminals.

However, a few days later he returns to Las Vegas and discovers that his house has been broken into. | Cliff Hawkins/Getty Images Just because Mayweather’s net worth reached $500 million last summer – and may be approaching $1 billion – doesn’t mean one of the world’s most famous athletes tolerates talk of his business. Mayweather made his money by beating everyone in the ring in exchange for huge royalties and a share of pay-per-view revenue. Since paying $750,000 to get out from under his contract with Bob Arum in 2006, he’s managed to keep all the money he’s made. Now he’s offering a six-figure reward. Mayweather found out this weekend that he was the victim of foul play, and the champion wants to know who robbed him. A person’s home is his sanctuary, a place of peace, rest and comfort. When someone violates that sanctuary, it’s upsetting and hurtful, Mayweather wrote on social media this week. One of my homes was robbed in Las Vegas. The level of disrespect and greed it takes for someone to do something like this is beyond comprehension, he wrote of the robbery. Thanks to all who report information. God bless you. The difference between a break-in at Mayweather’s Las Vegas home and a robbery at the home of a worker making $50,000 a year is a matter of scale. The Mayweather vs Paul fight on the 6th. The month of June in Miami was a somewhat dull, but nonetheless interesting experience. The show has reportedly brought in over a million buys. Observers drew some conclusions:

  • Mayweather remains a sought-after artist.
