LeBron James Dishes on His Dream 2-on-2 Partner, Playing With Bronny, and More in an Impromptu Twitter Q&A

LeBron James dished on his dream 2-on-2 partner, playing with Bronny, and more in an impromptu Twitter Q&A. He spoke about the game of basketball with a personal touch that captivated the NBA world after he won his third title last year.

While social media may be a sewer at times, Twitter has some speculative silver linings. The platform may enable professional athletes to engage more directly with their fans, even if it doesn’t always work out in practice. Consider LeBron James’ performance on Monday, May 16.

The Los Angeles Lakers player urged fans to submit questions for him to answer, seemingly out of nowhere. Even if some of the comments were less than ideal, James still had some intriguing things to say about his ideal two-on-two partner, playing with Bronny, and more.

Here are some of the more interesting questions and responses.

In a two-on-two matchup, LeBron would choose either Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, or Kyrie Irving to play Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

A good hypothetical pitting historical greats against one another is one of the few things that sports fans like. With that in mind, SB Nation asked LeBron, “If you had to choose one teammate (past or current) in a 2v2 game versus Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, who would you pick?”

For his part, James said that he would choose between Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving. While this isn’t quite in the spirit of the question, each of the three possibilities makes logic.

Of course, Kobe brings his Mamba Mentality and a thorough understanding of His Airness’ game; that knowledge might be the difference in a fight. Durant is a great scorer in his own way and would be a nice matchup for Pip’s size and length. Despite his recent difficulties, Irving can fill the box score on any given night, allowing James to shift to an off-ball position.

In any case, it seems like it may be a fun game.

The loss against the Mavs in the 2011 NBA Finals was the most difficult moment of King James’ career.

LeBron James has faced numerous terrible failures during his career, despite his achievements. The worst of them happened in 2011.

“Losing in the finals to Dallas after playing like [poop emoji],” James explained when asked about the toughest moment of his career and how he responded. “I hit the reset button, went back to the basics, worked on things in my game I needed to get better at so the defense couldn’t just sit on 1 thing. Hours & hours & hours everyday in the off season on it. Came back [lock emoji] in!”

At the very least, King James is constant. In 2020, he claimed loss “burns [him] to this day” and is always on his thoughts while striving to win games (h/t Bleacher Report).

Retirement does not seem to be in the near future.

To be honest, I could go on for a minute about how I feel. It’s all up to me to keep my mind fresh and sharp! I’m still a psychopath!

LeBron James suffered through some severe ailments as his Lakers fell short during the 2021-22 NBA season. Despite this, and the fact that he will be 38 in December, the singer does not seem to be ready to retire just yet.

“To be honest, I could go on for a minute about how I feel.” In answer to a query regarding how many years he has left, he stated, “It’s basically up to me and my brain being fresh/sharp.” “I’m still a psychopath!”

While that notion isn’t shocking, putting it into practice is more difficult. Even if LeBron has the will to continue playing, his body will ultimately give out. In any case, we should honor King James while he is still competent to lead the court. He won’t be around indefinitely.

King James says he still intends to play with his son, Bronny.

That is the strategy! With God’s help,

While Bronny James is still a few years away from being eligible to enter the Association, we know that his father hopes to play alongside him one day. During his Twitter Q&A, LeBron affirmed that goal.

“That is the plan,” wrote King James. “If God wills.”

But it wasn’t the only reference to Bronny in the response. LeBron was also questioned whether his kid had ever beaten him in a one-on-one situation. We didn’t obtain a solid explanation, but we did find out what occurred in their last game.

“The last time we actually played I shattered the backboard on a dunk so we couldn’t finish the game,” James explained.

LeBron affirms that he has excellent video game and dessert taste.

It’s tempting to believe that LeBron James enjoys the better things in life, given his enormous riches. Having said that, we now know he has excellent taste in video games and dessert.

James chose the Nintendo 64 over the Nintendo GameCube when asked which he preferred. He also said that if given the option, he would chose cake over pie.

Those were undoubtedly the two most crucial responses of the whole discussion.
